 The NX-P1200ISNVK is certified CSA-FM(US) intrinsically safe for use in Classes I, Div. 1, Group D and are also approved for non-Incendive use in Classes I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D hazardous locations. The NX-P1200ISNVK is Intrinsically Safe for use on oil rigs or refineries and other environments such as gas mains, coal mines, engine rooms of seafaring vessels, chemical plants, factories, emergency scenes involving First Responders, and other environments where there are potentially explosive or hazardous materials.

This tough radio meets MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G environmental test specifications and IP-54/55 standards for water and dust intrusion. The NX-P1200NVK is also repeater capable and designed for terrific audio performance.
